His flagship India Strategy report, released twice quarterly, is highly sought after by industry veterans and investors.

He is known for his deep analytical skills and has a comprehensive understanding of companies spanning various sectors with an expertise in consumption-related sectors.

His contributions have earned recognition through rankings in Asiamoney and Institutional Investor, and he has been honored with the Starmine awards in 2009 and 2010.

Amnish holds a CFA qualification and is a Rank Holder in his Post Graduate Degree in Finance from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI)

Swarnendu Bhushan is a seasoned professional with 23+ years of experience. He joined PL in 2023 as the Co-Head of Research.

He has extensive experience in equity research, oil & gas, and chemicals sector with in-depth understanding of upstream, downstream and gas utilities.

His expertise lies in his ability to identify and analyse global and domestic trends in the sector and providing valuable insights to clients for managing their equity investments effectively.

Swarnendu holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and the National University of Singapore, respectively. He has also completed his MBA in Finance from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.

Vikram Kasat leads the client and partner Advisory desk at PL. He has 13+ years of experience in equity research, portfolio management, and financial planning.

After joining PL in 2014, Vikram has been instrumental in scaling the advisory research desk, which provides tailored investment strategies that align with clients’ financial goals and risk profiles.

His expertise lies in conducting in-depth sector analyses and identifying lucrative investment opportunities for clients. He possesses a keen understanding of broader market trends and macro-economic issues, which allows him to offer valuable insights and actionable recommendations. His signature thematic report, The Beat, is highly sought-after by clients and industry veterans.

Vikram has completed his MBA in Finance from Chetana Institute Of Management & Research, and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce.

Vaishali Parekh brings over two decades of invaluable experience to her role as Vice President of the Technical Research Desk.

She joined PL in 2006 as a Trainee at the technical research desk and now leads this research vertical.

With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of market dynamics, Vaishali excels in analysing price charts, identifying patterns, and generating trading strategies across intraday, positional, and long-term horizons. Her timely calls have a consistently high strike rate and are relied upon by retail & HNI clients, institutional clients, and franchisee partners.

Vaishali has completed her graduation in commerce from RA Poddar college in Mumbai. She has also completed several courses, including the ones offered by BSE, as well as by technical analysis veterans Dr CK Narayan and Rahul Mohindar.

Shilpa Rout heads the derivatives research desk. Since joining PL in 2018, she has consistently delivered exceptional results for clients with a balanced risk-return ratio.

She is known for her powerful trade calls and her ability to generate aggressive yet well-calculated outcomes. This ensures that her calls maintain a consistently high strike rate.

Under Shilpa’s leadership, the derivatives research desk shares daily, weekly, and thematic reports which are highly sought-after by traders. She also frequently conducts live market webinars, which provide invaluable guidance and actionable insights for aspiring F&O traders.

On the academic front, Shilpa holds an MBA from KIIT University.
